Reduce Weight with Magnesium Castings

Your customers want lighter castings, but just as reliable as other alloys. Your engineers want lighter castings, but just as strong as ferrous alloys. Your sales department wants all of these attributes, but at a reasonable cost. Aristo-Cast has the ability to help you achieve all of these requests, by furnishing close tolerance, high quality investment castings — made from magnesium!

To enable your engineers to design parts for form, fit and function, we can offer rapid prototypes made from your math data. This capability allows your engineers to freely make design changes, without incurring any tooling costs.

When your magnesium casting design is finalized, we can also produce the wax tooling for your production castings. Our state-of-the-art foundry, located in Almont, Michigan is staffed to produce low volume rapid prototypes and high volume production quantities of magnesium castings. Additionally, our foundry can produce both ferrous and non-ferrous castings.

Aristo-Cast is aware that the final method of manufacture may not be the investment casting process. Our rapid prototypes can be used to duplicate die casting without the high cost of die cast tooling, and trim dies. Our AZ91E Magnesium can be furnished in the as cast condition for form and fit, or fully heat treated for function. Just let us know your requirements.

There is always a time when product is needed that is beyond rapid prototype quantities, but less than die cast quantities. Aristo-Cast could fill that niche, using our in-house mold shop to build a wax injection mold quickly to enable thousands of magnesium castings to be produced while the die cast tooling is being constructed.
